The Virginia singles’ ministry Valentine’s party iDance will be on Saturday, February 11th in Charlottesville, VA. Registration is currently open and only $20/person.

2012 Virginia Marrieds’ Retreat: “The Vow”
The 2012 Marrieds’ Retreat is fast approaching! This year’s retreat will be held on February 18th and 19th at the Williamsburg Marriott. Come join us for a fantastic weekend of great fellowship, inspiring and practical lessons to help us all have Godly marriages, fun and games, and a romantic getaway for you and your spouse!
Registration for the retreat will be $25/couple or $13/person for those whose spouse will not be attending. Harrisonburg Service this Sunday
This Sunday, 16 October, the Blue Ridge Church of Christ will be worshiping in Harrisonburg!
Service will begin at 11am at JMU’s Taylor Hall room 405. Please park in the C4/Hillside Parking Lot. Children’s ministry will be provided in an adjacent room. Teachers are asked to be at Taylor Hall no later than 10:30am. Parents may pack a snack for their children.
Driving Directions: from Charlottesville, take I-64 West to I-81 North. From I-81 North, take exit 247B (U.S. 33 West). Take U.S. 33 West to Cantrell Avenue and turn left. Proceed through two traffic lights and turn left into JMU Parking Lot C4.
Walking to Taylor Hall: from the C4/Hillside Parking Lot, follow the sidewalk that runs to the left of the tennis courts. Turn right at the end of the basketball courts and take the walking bridge over the creek. Taylor is the tall building in front of you and to the left.
Honor the King: Men’s Retreat

Spring 2011 Campaign: Humility
Come join the Blue Ridge Church of Christ and our sister churches in Virginia as we strive to imitate Jesus’ humility. As a church we strive to become more like Jesus everyday; so what better way than to imitate His humility? This campaign focuses in on the second chapter of the letter to Philippians where we’ll study out what it means to have the same attitude of Christ Jesus. Join us in fasting and prayer; daily exercises in humility; lessons on humility; evangelistic outreach; Bible talks; Bible studies; and incredible church services on Wednesday and Sundays throughout the month of March!
To help supplement our focus to capture the attitude of Christ, we’ll be reading Prideful Souls Guide To Humility (available new and used on Amazon) by Thomas Jones and Michael Fontenot.
